The 18-th edition of the International Security Exhibition SECUREX, the largest security industry event in Poland and Central Europe has just finished.

With satisfaction we would like to inform that this year's exhibition  proved to be a record in terms of exhibition space rented, as well as the number of professionals attending trade shows. For four days SECUREX, as well as held a parallel INSTALACJE, WODOCIĄGI, KOMINKI, SAWO, was visited by nearly 30,000 visitors seeking the newest solutions and services. At SECUREX was presented a record number of 260 new products debuting in the offer of the exhibitors or the first time presented at the fair!

FINALISTS OF THE 2ND POLISH ALARM SYSTEM INSTALLERS' CHAMPIONSHIP

Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie and the Polish Chamber of Alarm Systems invite you to the final of the 2nd POLISH ALARM SYSTEM INSTALLERS' CHAMPIONSHIP that will be held during SECUREX International Security Exhibition (Pavilion 7) on 27 April 2010 at 10.20 am - 2.00 pm.

Six finalists: six two-person teams selected from a few dozen entered to the qualification round will be presented in Poznań with tasks in six categories related to access control systems, anti-intruder and anti-burglary systems, surveillance TV and an additional task that will be kept secret from anyone but the organisers till the very end.

Qualifications to the championship final had the form of a test with questions testing expertise needed to perform services of installation, maintenance and servicing of alarm system equipment. Each qualification participant had to individually answer 50 multiple-choice questions, selecting one possible answer out of three options. Team score was a total of individual scores.

Teams with the best scores, namely: SECURUS-SERVICE Poznań (Artur BANDOSZ - Sebastian BIEDRZYŃSKI), GRUPA SOLID SECURITY Częstochowa (Krzysztof KWAŚNIAK - Maksymilian PĘCZAK), AGENCJA SOLID SECURITY Szczecin (Michał BOGUSZ - Zbigniew FIŁKOWSKI), MICROSYSTEM Sopot (Mariusz WAŚ - Jacek ZIELIŃSKI), MR SYSTEM Warszawa (Mariusz JOACHIMCZUK - Mariusz RAKOWSKI) and DYSKAM Kraków (Czesław BOROŃ - Paweł KNAP) will compete in the final round.

Two teams are reserve contestants, i.e. UNIWERSUM Warszawa (Jakub DZIEDZIC - Andrzej SYPUŁA) and AGENCJA SOLID SECURITY Olsztyn (Paweł DANISZEWSKI - Piort PODLASKI).

The best individual performers were Jack ZIELIŃSKI (MICROSYSTEM Sopot) and Daniel MITRAS (APEXIM BIS Zielona Góra); both scored 38 points out of a possible 50.

This year's SECUREX will be featuring a series of conferences for local government entities, institutions and services involved in ensuring public order and safety, staff at financial institutions, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers and wholesalers. The conferences have been organised by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie in collaboration with the Provincial Police Headquarters and the Security and Crisis Management Department at Wielkopolska Voivodship Office. SECUREX International Security Exhibition and its accompanying events will be held under the honorary patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of Wielkopolska Police Headquarters in Poznań.

Wielkopolska police officers will also be presenting preventive policing programmes and technical solutions used to improve our security.

From January 2010 MTP provides wireless Internet service that enables access to Wi-Fi Internet.
The  Wi-Fi Internet access is offered to participants of the fairs and participants of other events organized by  Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie as well as to tenants of the fair premises who use the premises to organize their own events.

Wireless Internet access is a paid service and the access codes are sold at Biuro Organizacji Targów (Fair Organization Office i.e. BOT)  located in pavilion 3, 5 and 7 as well as at all ticket offices.

Wireless Internet service is available within the whole MTP area.

We would like to inform you that a new visitor service system has been launched at www.mtp24.pl. Visit the website to register for SECUREX.

How to activate an account?

Complete a form with your personal details to register to mtp24.pl. An email message with a link will be sent following the submission of all data. Accept it to log into the system.

You can buy a cheaper ticket online or at the MTP ticket office if you complete the registration form.

You can view the history of your transactions and print document duplicates in the system.

Please note: Retain your admission ticket throughout your stay at the fair because you will need it at the exit.

The new visitor registration system is based on barcodes that are present on all documents admitting to the fairgrounds (tickets, invitations, exhibitors' cards, press cards, vehicle entry passes). Admission to the fairgrounds will be possible after scanning the code in a reader in a turnstile.

On all trade fair days assistance will be offered to visitors by the Client Assistant in the Eastern Lobby (entrance from ul. Głogowska) and the WTC Lobby (entrance from ul. Bukowska.

One of the additional possibilities offered to Exhibitors during the fair is the presentation of their newest products, technologies and services. It is an excellent form of promotion and prominent display of products that are new on the market and those that make their debut at the fair.

On our website www.securex.pl is currently available the registration form through which you can submit new products. Simply fill out a registration form containing information about the company and presented the product (up to 300 signs). Each new product should be reported in a separate form (up to 5 applications). The photos of the new product should be send in JPG format on the email: natalia.kulinska@mtp.pl

Products debuting at the trade fair can be showcased in specially marked exhibitors' stands, which guarantees their high recognition among visitors. Also, information about new products can be published in trade fair guides, press materials and on the fair's website.

Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie has been named winner of the "Well-Perceived Company" competition organized by Business Centre Club.

The competition, organized by the Business Centre Club, aims to find and award companies, which are perceived as most socially responsible in a given region. It is part of the "CSR as a tool of building a positive corporate image" project run all over Poland by BCC in partnership with the Trade Union Forum and the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland.

The competition promotes companies known in their regions for socially responsible business and for promotion of knowledge about good CSR practices. In each of the 16 regions in Poland one company was selected, which is positively perceived in its region as a socially responsible company. Each of the laureates will be presented as good practice at a regional conference organized as part of the project.

In Wielkopolska a "Well-Perceived Company" was selected on 27 October 2009.

First deadline for applications with the preferential prices of exhibition space has just passed on the October 16th, 2009.

The participation in the International Security Exhibition SECUREX confirmed much more exhibitors than in 2008 by analogy.

Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie is implementing standards that are present in many trade fair centres by introducing changes to the visitor registration system and in the standards of services to trade fair visitors.

In September, you will experience new registration points in the Eastern Lobby (entrance from ul. Głogowska) and the WTC Lobby (entrance from ul. Bukowska). A professional visitor registration system based on barcodes will be another new development.

Barcodes are present on all documents admitting participants to the fair grounds (tickets, invitations, exhibitors' cards, press cards', vehicle entry passes). Admission to the fair grounds will be possible after scanning the code in a reader in a turnstile.

Please note: retain your admission documents throughout your visit to the fair because you will also need them at the exit (the barcode will have to be scanned in the turnstile).
