SECUREX is switching to an annual schedule and joining forces with the PROTEGA Trade Fair.
For years, the SECUREX trade show has remained the largest business event for the security industry in our country, bringing together manufacturers, designers, representatives of law enforcement agencies and government, as well as end users of modern security systems. The event’s program includes presentations of the latest solutions for the protection of people, property, infrastructure, data, and cyberspace, as well as a conference and workshops addressing the industry’s current challenges.

SECUREX is now opening a new chapter in its history. The event, which has previously been held every two years, will now take place annually and will be accompanied by the PROTEGA Trade Fair—dedicated to crisis management and civil protection. This duo will become an even more dynamic platform for showcasing technology, exchanging knowledge, and building business relationships in the broadly defined field of security. This change is a response to the rapid pace of development in the security market and the growing importance of cooperation between the security and civil protection sectors. The first joint edition will take place on May 19–20, 2027, in Halls 7, 7A, 8, and 8A at the MTP Poznań Expo.

The market is changing faster than ever
Today, the security industry is growing at a pace that would have been difficult to predict just a few years ago. Every year, new technologies hit the market—utilizing artificial intelligence, advanced image analytics, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and systems that support the protection of critical infrastructure. The annual SECUREX format will allow manufacturers and suppliers to showcase innovations exactly when they hit the market, while providing visitors with regular access to the latest trends and practical knowledge.
At the same time, the direction of European industry events is becoming increasingly clear. The organizers of the largest security trade shows are expanding their scope to include issues related to civil protection, crisis management, and infrastructure resilience. We are observing a similar trend in the Polish market as well. The synergy between these two sectors is becoming a natural response to contemporary challenges related to the security of businesses
and society.

A better-designed event thanks to industry synergy
The new SECUREX format calls for even stronger integration among communities involved
in technical security, cybersecurity, and civil protection. As a result, the event will cover a broader range of topics, allow for the participation of a larger number of exhibitors,
and create new business opportunities for companies operating at the intersection of these fields.
Holding the event annually will also allow for a more effective response to market needs and enable more intensive promotional activities targeting new professional audiences—from security department managers and security specialists, to government officials responsible for crisis management, to those involved in critical infrastructure.
A new edition of SECUREX coming in 2027
The next edition of the SECUREX Trade Fair will take place on May 19–20, 2027, and for the first time will be held concurrently with the PROTEGA Trade Fair, creating a unique space that brings together the world of modern security technologies with solutions for civil protection
and infrastructure security. The organizers are preparing a series of new initiatives that will further emphasize the event’s business and expert focus. Planned activities will include, among others:
- The Technology Innovations Zone, showcasing the most innovative solutions on the market, organized in collaboration with strategic partners.
- An expanded offering for new exhibitors, including new participation packages
and attractive terms for making their debut at the trade show. - Special collaboration programs for market leaders.
- Workshops for installation designers conducted jointly with a renowned industry manufacturer.
- An expanded content program in collaboration with universities and research institutions, focusing on innovations and the future of security technology.
- Meetings of key industry organizations and associations.
- Conferences dedicated to mass event security and critical infrastructure protection.
- Further development of the cybersecurity segment as one of the key areas of the exhibition.
- Active promotion of the event targeting the following groups: crisis management professionals, security department managers, and industry representatives directly involved in crisis infrastructure.

Changing the frequency of the SECUREX Trade Fair will enable faster presentation of innovations, more effective building of business relationships, and even better utilization of the potential for cooperation between the security, cybersecurity, and civil protection industries. SECUREX 2027 will be an event that brings together the most important players in the security market and creates a space for discussion about technologies and solutions that address the challenges of the modern world.
