Who attended the Securex 2026 Trade Fair?
This year’s edition of the trade fair once again brought together representatives of the security, property protection, cybersecurity, and uniformed services sectors from Poland and abroad. From April 14–16, 2026, a total of 15,091 participants visited the Poznań International Fair, confirming the event’s growing importance for the entire industry.
We recorded the highest attendance on the second day of the fair, when 44.4% of all participants visited the exhibition halls. The first day attracted 38.8% of visitors, while the third day drew 16.8%.
Professionals and decision-makers in one place
Securex 2026 was primarily attended by professionals from the security industry and senior management representatives. Participants included specialists (34%), business owners, board members, and directors (30%), as well as supervisors and managers (27%).
The visitor profile shows that the trade show remains an effective business platform and a venue for making real purchasing and investment decisions.
The dominant sectors represented included:
- security systems,
- electrical installations,
- construction and investments,
- property and asset protection,
- cybersecurity and data protection,
- property management,
- firefighting, and uniformed services
Presence of government agencies and uniformed services
For years, Securex has been a meeting place for the business sector and the public sector, as well as the services responsible for security. Visitors included representatives from, among others:
- Provincial and County Police Commands,
- the Border Guard,
- the Fire Department,
- the Polish Army,
- Military Recruitment Centers,
- prosecutors’ offices,
- administrative courts,
- emergency medical services,
- municipal offices and county offices, and detention centers.
Such a broad representation of public institutions confirms the importance of the fair as a platform for exchanging experiences and presenting modern technologies that support national security, infrastructure, and businesses.
High Industry Activity and Supporting Events
Professional events were an integral part of Securex 2026. The 2nd International Congress on Technical Security attracted significant interest, bringing together 415 participants. Meanwhile, the 17th National Workshop on Civil Protection and Civil Defense was attended by 367 people.
The program of accompanying events enabled participants to exchange knowledge, analyze current market challenges, and learn about the latest trends and technologies related to security.
The International Nature of the Event
Securex 2026 also had a distinctly international dimension. As part of the Hosted Buyers Programme, the fair was visited by 13 international business guests from Estonia, Romania, Tunisia, Georgia, Latvia, Morocco, and Moldova.
Additionally, the event attracted 80 international visitors from 29 countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, the United States, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine.
This international presence confirms that Securex is now one of the most important gatherings of the security industry in Central and Eastern Europe.
